Exciting works are underway in Balatonszemes, as we are carrying out afforestation in an area of nearly 5 hectares. The goal is to create a new patch of forest by planting native tree species typical of the area. The message of this project is to preserve local biodiversity and improve ecosystem health.
The importance of the project is very diverse. The planting of native trees increases the diversity of fauna and flora of the area and contributes to the restoration of natural ecosystem. Through the development of the forest, carbon sequestration increases, air pollution decreases, and soil quality improves.
