THE CARBON FOOTPRINT OF AN AVERAGE HUNGARIAN WORKER IS APPROXIMATELY 5T CO2 PER YEAR, WHICH CAN BE CONTAINED BY APPROXIMATELY 200 PIECES OF AVERAGE AGE AND CONDITION IN ONE YEAR.

Our tree planting service is carried out with the restructuring of forests and the planting of native seedlings. Our goal is to create forests that can better withstand climate change. Such forests of several species consist of mixed perennial plants and trees.
Currently, this area is home to alien pine and invasive acacia that was planted in the late 1960s. Due to the adverse effects of climate change, the health of both tree species has deteriorated significantly. The current forest plan allows for the cutting of 60-year-old pines and 30-year-old acacias. By avoiding the clear-cutting of these trees, the replacement of the forest pine with acacia tree species that make up the current ecosystem can also be achieved by applying the regeneration method. We evaluate the health status of each tree individually and the possibility of their further potential sustainability. During the applied technology, only the identified sick trees are harvested and replaced by individuals of native, long-term sustainable tree species. In our experience, the mixed tree species formed in this way are sustainable for 90-110 years.
In addition to the 6-8 year care period of planted seedlings, tree management can be achieved with low environmental impact. It is necessary to carry out silvicultural interventions every 7-10 years to prevent the further spread of invasive species.
