Climate Action and Genesys OSC-Újbuda start implementing a joint sustainability project. For Climate Action, as an environmental consulting and research company, the relationship between sustainability and sport is of paramount importance. One of our short-term goals is to become Europe's leading consulting company in the field of sustainability and sport.
We are pleased to have entered into cooperation with one of Hungary best water polo teams, Genesys OSC-Újbuda. The GENESYSY OSC ÚJBUDA water polo team plays a significant role in the youth education of the sport and in organizing leisure sports for children and adults. OSC is a seven-time Hungarian champion, two-time Hungarian Cup winner, two-time LEN Champions League and one-time LEN Super Cup winner.
We believe that through Hungary's sports clubs, the message of the importance of environmental protection and sustainability can be conveyed to a significant segment of society.
According to the joint cooperation, Climate Action will implement sustainability projects for OSC, the first step of which will be a community collection for the realization of an environmental and a sustainability cause.
During each OSC adult and youth home match, a collection box will be placed in the swimming pool area, and with the money collected, the construction of a forest structure transformation project will begin, probably early next year. The project will be accessible and viewable by everyone.
