When sport meets sustainability, real impact is created. Our joint efforts have reached a major milestone: the Hungarian Swimming Federation and Climate Action have been awarded first place at the Sport Forum Hungary Awards, receiving the Social Responsibility Award of the Year in Sports.
We are proud to announce that the Hungarian Swimming Federation and Climate Action achieved GOLD classification, securing 1st place at the Sport Forum Hungary Awards, and receiving the Social Responsibility Award of the Year in Sports.
This recognition represents far more than a trophy. It is a clear confirmation that we are true market leaders in the field of Sport x Sustainability, delivering tangible, measurable impact at the highest level of international sport.
At the 2024 Short Course Swimming World Championships in Budapest, we did more than deliver a world-class sporting event. We demonstrated what responsible, forward-thinking, and innovative sustainability looks like in practice, through initiatives such as:
selective waste collection using a basketball-hoop engagement concept,
replacing plastic bottles with large-scale water dispensers,
reducing international shipments and implementing local storage solutions,
delivering online educational content to more than 3,000 schoolchildren,
implementing concrete carbon footprint reduction measures.
We are proud of the entire Climate Action team, the Hungarian Swimming Federation, and all partners and contributors who made this shared success possible.
This award is not just an achievement — it is a direction we are setting for the future of sport.
