For Climate Action, it signals the beginning of a new chapter: expanding our sustainability services into the non-profit sector.
Why Sustainability Matters for Non-Profit Organisations
Sustainability is becoming increasingly relevant for civil society organisations. It is no longer only a corporate responsibility or a reporting requirement. For non-profits, a clear sustainability framework can support long-term organisational development and strengthen relationships with key stakeholders.

Launching the Partnership in Budapest
The new partnership was introduced during a Business Breakfast held at Textúra Restaurant in Budapest, with the participation of leaders from several Hungarian non-profit organisations.
The event created an opportunity to discuss how sustainability can contribute to the future of the civil sector and how ESG principles can be adapted to the specific needs of non-profit organisations.
A special highlight of the morning was the presentation by Michelin-starred chef Ákos Sárközi, who shared his experience of sustainability in gastronomy. His presentation focused on the importance of reducing food waste and applying a Zero Waste approach in restaurant operations.
His perspective showed that sustainability affects every sector, from business and civil society to hospitality and fine dining.
A New Direction for Climate Action
Through this cooperation, Climate Action will support Civilút Foundation in reviewing its current activities, identifying its sustainability priorities and developing a practical long-term strategy.
The project will also include the preparation of an ESG report that presents the Foundation’s activities, impact, commitments and future objectives in a transparent and structured way.
We believe that sustainability can become one of the most important strategic opportunities for non-profit organisations in the coming years.
